In-Store Play Returns in June!
On the heels of our new store Masking Policy, we are happy to announce that in-store gaming will be returning in June! In preparation for the re-opening of our Game Room, we wanted to take a moment to share an important bit of policy news for how that space will be operating for the foreseeable future.
That bit of news is this: You will have to be fully vaccinated against the Covid-19 virus in order to participate in any events and games in our Game Room.
This measure is being taken due to the enclosed nature of the space and the proximity of players during our events. In light of this policy, masks may be worn, BUT WILL NOT BE REQUIRED, in the Game Room.
You will need proof of vaccination via a valid Vaccination Record Card or other official means. New York State’s Excelsior Pass app is a convenient way to have your information stored on your phone as proof of vaccination. For more information on local vaccination sites, CLICK HERE. This policy will be non-negotiable and this requirement will have to be met by everyone entering the Game Room.
In-store play will begin exclusively with our Magic: the Gathering Modern Horizons 2 Pre-Release Weekend June 11th-13th. The following Monday, (June 14th), our weekly events will resume. Stay tuned for a detailed announcement on our weekly events coming in the next few days!
