Weekly Events Are Back! Here’s What’s Happening to Start

What a long, strange trip it’s been!

Weekly events will begin again on Monday, June 14th (after our Modern Horizons 2 Pre-Release Weekend). Pokemon and Yu-Gi-Oh!

Our weekly Pokemon and Yu-Gi-Oh events will resume as soon as official announcements are made from their respective companies regarding Organized Play. Our Event Calendar will be updated soon with all the juicy details, as well as more events as they become available!

Credit Swap

A Credit Swap simply means that you get the full entry cost back as store credit, essentially making the event free if you’ll spend a few bucks in the store. For your $10 entry, you will get a $10 credit chip back! This is a direct effort to keep event costs manageable for customers at a time when product costs, shipping, and everything else continues to climb. Many of our non-tournament events, as well as all Non-Event Gaming, will use this system as a means to keep event costs down, even with space at a premium.

Non-Event Credit

Some Millennium Games Store Credit is labeled as “Non-Event” or “Non-Tournament” credit. The only difference between them is that Non-Event credit can’t be used to pay for entry for events in the store. Otherwise, they can be used on anything in the store….games, singles, snacks, dice, and everything else! All Credit Swap credit will be given back as Non-Event Credit.

Non-Event Gaming

What is Non-Event Gaming? Non-Event Gaming is an umbrella term for all gaming done in the store that is not a scheduled event through the store. This will allow you to use the Game Room outside of our scheduled events for a $10 Credit Swap per person.

If you want to play games with friends outside of our normal scheduled events, feel free to stop by the store or call us to make sure space is available. We will do our best to accommodate your needs.

All Non-Event Gaming is subject to space availability and will defer to our scheduled events when necessary. This is a short way of saying that Non-Event gaming will not always be available on busy nights or during special events. This will be a work in progress and represent a slight detour in policy from the way things used to function. We appreciate everyone’s understanding if there are space conflicts, and we would encourage you to call ahead first!

Vaccination Requirements

Vaccination requirements have been lifted as per New York State Guidance.
