Play Something New – ContraBanter

We will be teaching and playing a different Featured Game every Friday night beginning at 6:00 pm! We will have open copies available, and experts on hand to teach you how to play! The featured game for June 7th, is ContraBanter! This is a special early access event from Skybound Games who will be attending the event along with the game’s designer, Phil Gross!
The game will officially come out June 12th, but will be available to anyone attending the event during this special event!
We will be raffling off one open copy of the game at the end of the night to event players! Additionally, the Featured Game will be 20% off during the event for everyone who participated in the learn to play!
About ContraBanter –
ContraBanter is a Word-Smuggling game where you’ll work as a team to sneak secret words into a conversation! Each turn begins with an opponent asking a question or using one of the provided prompt cards to get the conversation started, and from there the smuggling team will have 90 seconds to hide their words throughout their discussion. The other team will be listening closely and at any time they can pause the clock and use one of their three chances each round to try to guess your secret words. You’ll get points from successfully sneaking your secret words by your opponents and correctly identifying and confiscating their secret words. Whoever has the most points at the end of three rounds is the winner!

This is a beginner and family-friendly event, no prior knowledge of the game is required to participate, and players under 13 are welcome with guardian supervision!
