It is the 27th Century. After a catastrophic attack on humanity, one battleship and a few civilian vessels must fight to survive, govern themselves and maintain order, as they flee from their pursuers.
Den of Wolves is a game about difficult political, military and survival choices in a long-term crisis scenario. Players will take on the roles of starship captains, officers, and engineers, as well as politicians and military personnel. The game has a focus on managing resources, as well as various units and assets – however, talking and negotiating with other players will be crucial in order to achieve success. The game also seeks to represent political and military systems, and their decisions, and so players should expect some political simulation.
This is a large-scale game that will be very interactive. Our Game Room tables will represent different ships in the fleet where individuals will have secret assignments as they seek to sabotage or secure victory for humanity.
Players should expect a longer experience (roughly 6 hours). Sign-ins will begin at 10:00 am and we will seat the game and go over the rules starting at 10:30 am. There will also be a break for lunch in the afternoon – pizza will be provided for a mid-space adventure snack!
While there are no explicitly adult themes, this event will be for ages 16+
Due to the size and scope of the game, player seats are limited to a total of 43, so make sure to pre-register below and guarantee your spot in this special event!
