Creature Feature – Beginner Painitng Workshop

Join us for a special summer painting workshop! Learn basic miniatures painting techniques, paint along with a live teacher, and leave with a painted miniature!
Cost: $50
Entry includes a miniature to paint and a set of Army Painter brushes to work with! Each participant will get a WizKids creature miniature from a curated selection (including dragons, owl bears, beholders, etc.) and a set of Army Painter Starter Brush Hobby Set (Standard, Detail, and Dry brushes) to use for the event and take home after!
We’ll provide all the other paints and accessories you’ll need for the event.
During this class we will cover the following:
- Brush Care and Tool Guide – Learn what equipment is good and how to care for it
- Basecoating – Get your miniature started off right
- Drybrushing and Washing – Bring out the details and give your creature depth
- Highlighting – Add some details and finishing touches to make your mini stand out
This event is family friendly and is aimed at beginning/ newer painters looking to get started and hone their basic skills! You’ll paint alongside a live teacher as you learn the techniques above. At the end of the event you’ll have your own mini and paint brushes to take home!
We will also have some special sales on beginner-friendly paints and accessories to help you continue your painting journey.
